We meet at Satna Railway Station around 11 a.m. and travel to Panna Tiger Reserve by road.  We would be then travelling to Panna and on the way have a brunch. We would reach Panna by 3:00 p.m.

Check-in to our resort and have an introduction and an ice breaking session. 

Today we would visit a very fascinating and interesting place around Panna Tiger Reserve – Raneh falls a waterfall and a canyon which is located in the neaby town of Khajuraho. Known as the Grand Canyon of India, this place is definitely on the list of a traveler coming to Panna. The canyon is  5km in length and approx. 50 mtrs in depthand is made of pure crystalline granite in varying shades of colors ranging from pink and red to grey.

The view of this canyon is breath taking and your photography sessions start from this point itself.

In the evening come back to our hotel and get refreshed by a hot cup of tea. 

Have a sumptuous dinner and retire for the day.

Wake up call at 6 AM.  Get ready for the first safari in Panna Tiger Reserve.

Panna is a prime tiger habitat located in Madhya Pradesh. With the Ken River flowing through its heart this place is famous for its mesmerizing waterfalls and amazing wildlife. It is home to the King of the Jungle – The Royal Bengal Tiger!!

This would be our first safari and we would be entering the forest around 6:30 AM. We would be making our way through the dry deciduous forest all the time keeping a lookout for the king of the jungle. Our guide would be helping us to locate and observe the various mammals and birds that would encounter on our way. The avifauna of this forest comprises of more than 200 species including a host of migratory birds. One can easily see the white-necked stork, honey buzzards, king vultures, blossom headed parakeet, slaty headed woodpecker etc.

After a rewarding morning safari, we would be coming back to our resort and having a sumptuous lunch. At about 2:30 PM, the excitement for the evening safari would start. You would learn to identify the different wildlife that you encounter and their significance in the eco-system. Listen to the call of roosting birds, the call of eagles as they soar the evening skies, learn to identify birds by observing their wing patterns. Try to listen and see for any sign for the king of the jungle, the tiger. 

All the Jungle folks will ensure that not a single moment in the safari would be dull. At about 6:30 PM. We would be reaching back at our resort. Post-safari, the adrenalin will be pumping and all of us will be excitedly discussing what we saw and what we missed.

Dinner would be ready by 8 pm and we can turn in early in anticipation of the next morning’s safari! Of course, in the night we can hear calls of the barking deer of Cheetal or Langoor warning the fellow forest dwellers the presence of the Predators! 

Nights in the jungle is really a time when everything else in life seems insignificant and you can give forget all your worries. Listen and enjoy to the sounds of the jungle at night and try to identify the bird which just gave a call or the animal that made the sound while making a hasty retreat. Indulge in a bit of storytelling, sharing your own jungle stories or listen to the jungle adventure stories that would be shared by others. Share your photographs that you have clicked in the day and learn whether any improvements are needed.

We wake up at 5:30 AM! Get ready for the morning safari. After that, we come back and have a sumptuous breakfast. Participants can relax, enjoy the surroundings, have lunch and then prepare for the evening safari. 

We start evening safari around 2:30 PM. and enjoy the cool evening breeze blowing in the forest, learn to identify the different bird and mammal calls. The guides will keep on educating you about the ways of the jungle, imparting knowledge about its different denizens all the while trying to locate the big cat for you. 

Come back from Safari, have snacks, freshen up and the group would have a lively discussion about the various sighting and happenings in the safari. This would be followed by review of photographs and exchange of tips with advice if needed for improvements needed. 

Have a sumptuous dinner and retire for the day.

We wake up at 6:30 AM. and get ready for our last safari in Panna.

After the safari check out from our accommodation around 11 a.m. ready to travel back to Satna. This would be a time when you would recollect all the memories of the past 3 days.  Reach Satna by 3 p.m.

Board the train to our destinations and say goodbye to Panna with a promise to return. The tour would end here but as we head back to our home, we will always remember this beautiful place and the wonderful experience we would here with the new friends that we met on this tour.
